Yes, I had every intention of keeping this going while I ran the treadmill.
I even started a post, but was interrupted before I could get far into it. And I never returned.
I really seem to think about updating at the most inconvenient times; while driving, showering. You know, those times I am sooo close to a computer.
So, a quick update. I have been running three days a week at the gym. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday I run 2 miles. About 20 minutes. On Saturday I try for at least 3 miles, then relax in the hot tub. I'd love to run longer during the weekday, but I have an hour lunch, and by the time I get to the gym, change and account for the time I have to change back and get back to work, I have 20 minutes, give or take a few to stretch.
Because my time is limited, I haven't gotten the stretching in I would like, so of course I suffer from shin splints, or tendentious, or something in my legs.
Today I ran at a pretty steep incline, and started to decrease it at the end of my run. That is when I discovered that it hurts less to run at a 5 incline than it does at a 0 incline. I have no idea why, and if any seasoned treadmill runners out there can give me any info on that, it would be much appreciated.
I am thinking of running in the "tata trot" 5k this Saturday. Since all my running for the past two months has been indoors, this could be really challenging, or a nice reprieve from the "dreadmill"
As for keeping up on the blog, I can't really promise anything. (obviously) There really are a couple of similar, but different topics I want to spend my time on, and I think I shall be creating new blogs for those.
One is, tomorrow I am starting the 100 fit days challenge. I've been debating a blog on that. It is my goal to somehow catalog all 100 days on instagram. I suppose I have 24 hours to decide what to do on the blog side of things.
So until next time, I'm around here somewhere.
